About us

jooootv.com is a small site built around one idea: nobody who used joootv should get lost now that it has a new name.

Why we started it

After joootv became AlooYTV, plenty of people kept searching for the old name and ended up on dead links, outdated versions, or pages that had nothing to do with the service. jooootv.com puts what changed, how to set it up on each device, and fixes for the problems that keep coming up all in one place.

What you'll find here

  • Setup guides for phones, TVs, iPhone and computers, with clear numbered steps.
  • Fixes for common problems: "App not installed", buffering, links that won't open.
  • General know-how: the internet speed you need, saving mobile data, spotting fake versions.

The site is in Arabic and English. Most of our readers are in the Gulf, so the examples are written with homes and internet providers here in mind.

Who writes this?

A small team from the Gulf who use these devices at home every day: phones, the TV in the majlis, a TV box in the living room. We run through the steps ourselves before publishing, and we write them in the order people actually hit them, not the way a manual describes them.

What we don't do

  • We don't host any video or streams, and we don't upload app files to this site. Download links go to the official source.
  • We don't ask you to sign up or hand over personal details to read anything.
  • We don't use link shorteners or ad pages in between.

How we write

We keep the language simple, re-check guides when device menus or install steps change, and show the date each guide was last checked at the top. If a step no longer matches what you see, tell us and we'll fix it.

Our relationship with AlooYTV

jooootv.com is a guide site, not the watch site. The service's official site is alooytv.com, which is where the official download links are.
