Are joootv, jooootv and AlooYTV the same thing?
Yes. joootv (also spelled jooootv) was the old name. The same service is now called AlooYTV, written «الوي تي في» in Arabic.
Is it free?
Yes, watching is free. If an app or site with the same name asks you to pay a subscription or enter card details, it isn't the original service.
Do I need an account?
No. You open it and watch. No sign-up, no password.
What's the official site?
alooytv.com. That's where the download links for every device are. jooootv.com is a guide site that points you there and to the current watch site address.
Why did the link I was using stop working?
The watch site's address changes now and then for technical reasons. The "Watch site" button at the top of jooootv.com always takes you to the current one.
Is it on Google Play or the App Store?
No. On Android you install an APK from the official site. On iPhone and iPad you watch in Safari and add an icon to your home screen.
Does it work on a Samsung or LG TV?
Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs can't install APK files. You can use the TV's browser, or plug in a TV box or Fire TV Stick and install the app on that.
I'm getting "App not installed". What do I do?
Most of the time an old version is still on the phone. Uninstall it, then install the new file. The other causes are covered on our "App not installed" page.
Is jooootv.com the watch site?
No. jooootv.com is a guide and information site for people who used joootv. The watching happens on the watch site or in the app.
